Our multi award-winning classes are designed to be relaxed, accessible, and confidence-boosting - giving you the knowledge and skills to act in a medical emergency. We offer sessions for the whole family, including parents, grandparents, carers, and even children as young as three.
As a Senior Flight Stewardess for 9 years with Emirates Airline, responsible for her crew and 400 passengers on each flight, Amy encountered many emergencies from heart failure to febrile convulsions. Amy felt confident to administer first aid because of her annual training but having hung up her wings, becoming a Mummy to her two girls and working as a preschool teacher, Amy quickly realised that more people need to be able to deliver first aid in everyday emergency situations all across the UK. The opportunity to help other parents and children to feel just as confident, when first on the scene in an emergency situation is a dream job, knowing that the knowledge she passes on could save a life!
Helen has worked as a Primary School Teacher for over 16 years and is a Mummy to two adventurous boys. She has been involved with many first aid situations and understands just how crucial it is to have basic first aid skills, if an emergency situation arises. Helen is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience to equip people with the confidence and skills to deal with an emergency, in a calm and safe way. Helen believes that all children should learn first aid throughout their education and is excited that first aid lessons are now compulsory in schools - she can’t wait to deliver these sessions!
As a paediatric nurse for 14 years, Charis has experience in medical, surgical and neurological settings and has encountered countless emergencies within that time. Having witnessed several preventable situations, it became clear that more people should be learning first aid and basic life support. Charis then qualified as a basic life support trainer, where she taught parents the skills to give their children the best possible outcomes in emergency situations. When Charis became pregnant with her daughter, she wanted to ensure her family were also trained so signed them up for a first aid training course. When Charis was pregnant with her little boy, she bumped into Amy and Helen at the Mini First Aid stand at the Manchester Baby and Toddler Show… and her journey with us began! Charis can't wait to meet you at one of our classes in the very near future!
